How it all started

Inspired by the traditional way-of-life, we envisioned products that reflected how we live our lives each and every day. One simple idea turned into dozens, and sparked what is now Good Handle.

What is Good Handle?

Good Handle is our family business that includes, but is not limited to: beef shares from our own cow herd, online homesteading courses, shirts and caps, and cookbooks (you can snag a FREE cookbook here).

Our family consists of Cody and I (Meghan) and our two daughters. We love doing business as a family and it just feels right. Cody was raised on a large backgrounding operation and, growing up, I had experience on my grandparents’ small grass-fed ranch. We both have ranching in our blood, but have started everything from the ground-up ourselves, so we often feel like first generation ranchers!

What we did gain from our childhoods were knowledge, experience, a love for ranching and a desire to raise our children on a ranch/homestead. We are proudly working together to build our dream of full-time business owners/ranchers, and we’re thankful you’re here to support that!
